[Euphie is in her room and sitting at her vanity table with a new and elegant pink leather jewelry box. Sighing and looking very upset, she reaches to her neck and undoes the clasp of the chain there and removes it and the diamond engagement ring she wears there. Looking sadly at it, she places it in the box and closes it before stowing it away in her drawer. She then puts on this grey pearl necklace and touches it absently.]

It is time for me to do this...

[Euphie is now back to normal age and looks a little embarrassed as she finishes tying her hair up in a slightly different style than usual and then smooths down her dress]

Lelouch I am so sorry. Suzaku, too. I really didn't mean to call you Mummy and Daddy, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. I know you're not my mother, I had one of those and I don't think you look like a girl much...and I don't want to marry you still, I mean. Well, you're my brother.

I will pay you back for the food, dresses, shoes and toys you bought for me. [blush deepens]

I hope I wasn't too much trouble.

[fidgets a little] And er...Reno? We should probably talk...

[Euphie is wrapping a nice shirt in a box until she turns to get the bow and de-ages. She is now sitting in a pink, frilly dress that is much too big for her and she pokes her head out and looks around confused and speaks in a small voice lilted a little by her being five]

Cornelia?

[waits a few moments and...Cornelia doesn't appear. That is odd]

Cornelia? Where are you? [tries to get up, trips over the dress and starts to cry because she banged her knee]

[Euphie appears to be in an alternative, hippy-esque store and is looking around and things. She occasionally shakes her head and moves on to something else or picks up and item and examines it. Completely unaware she is on the second level, she is too preoccupied]

Excuse me, miss?

Hi - I'm looking for a gift for a friend's birthday and I was wondering if you had anything special?

[she watches the clerk go off to find some items as she peruses the shelf again and sighs]

I've never not known what to get someone for their birthday before...

[Euphie looks a bit annoyed but more worried than anything else]

Are we going to lose our businesses as well? I employ a lot of people...I don't want them to be jobless.

[Euphie goes outside and sets up a "Hiring now" sign, she looks a little worried and goes back inside. She goes into her little office and tries to focus on paperwork]

[Accidental second level, Euphie is apparently busy in the back room of the pub trying to figure out how to connect a new line of beer she has to the taps, reading a manual]

Okay, that's done. So this goes in here...then it should connect to the main line and get to the tap through there...

[points at things as she talks and sets down the manual and goes to tap it, but mishits it and it squirts beer into her face and all down her dress]

AAGH! [she reaches forward and starts trying to twist it closed again]

[Euphie is sitting on the floor of her storeroom, nursing her foot as she just slipped on the floor and got it squashed under a heavy crate of beer. She is obviously in a lot of pain and trying to free the squashed body part]

owowowowowowow....

[Euphie doesn't realize she is on the second level, she is too nervous to be paying attention as she walks up the pathway to Lelouch's house, where Suzaku is currently staying. She goes to knock on the door, but instead lays down a covered basket on the doorstep. Inside is an assortment of little cakes she picked up from the Cat's Eye Café this morning with a little note pinned to the top. "Dear Suzaku, please accept these as a token of apology. I hope you like sweets as much as your counterpart, Euphemia li Britannia." She then turns, another basket still under her arm and she heads off in the direction of the Axel's home to drop off some to them for looking after Zack and to Zack himself.]

[Euphie is opening up the pub, very happy that she has now filled all her staffing positions and the place looking like it will not only meet it's overhead but maybe even turn a profit sooner than she thought it would...]

[Euphie is sitting in her room wrapped tightly in a voluminous dressing gown, eyes wide and looking horrified, her engagement ring left on her bedside cabinet.]

...I can't believe I was so stupid.

I've messed everything up... [starts to cry and slips out of the second level; not even noticing she was on it at all]

[Euphie is in her new room in the house Reno secured for the large group of roommates and has already put a few colour swatches in pale pink on the walls to help her decide shade and some drapery she plans to put up. She is smiling and unaware she is on the second level as she leans over to a just-waking Suzaku. Luckily for her, the little nightdress she has on is just long enough to preserve her modesty and she kisses him lightly and passes him a home-cooked breakfast. The tray is decorated with a little flower in the glass vase]

Morning, sleepyhead.

[She slips into the bed beside him and steals a piece of buttered toast fron his tray with a cheeky grin]

[sees some flowers outside of the pub and hesitates. Does she dare wish? Will it come true? She saw that it did for Reno..she walks towards it, hesitatingly and then walks away.

...only to come back and stand within them and wish with all her heart...]

[Euphie is in a little office area that she has decorated with fresh flowers and a large window to let in a lot of light and she seems very at home with a huge pile of paperwork in front of her, most of it already completed. She finishes signing a few cheques and puts them in envelopes with her staff's names on and smiles. Deciding that all the important work is done, she leaves the office, locks it up and puts the envelopes in little pigeonholes with everyone's names on and slips her keys in her pocket.]

I feel like getting chinese for dinner, do you guys want some?

[Euphie is busy busy going around the pub in a little maid outfit Millay made all specially for her (it is a little more revealing than it probably should but oh oh well ~) and making sure every thing is spic and span for the Grand Opening. She is also checking off lists of beers and liquors, ensuring she has plenty of each and affixing little cocktail cheat sheets behind the bar. Then she picks up a 'HIRING NOW' sign outside stating she needs bartenders and kitchen staff as well as a bouncer.]

Oh, this is going to be a lot of fun.

[polishes some of the brass and giggles]

Sister Cornelia would have a fit if she knew what I was doing.

[Euphie is standing outside a pub with a realtor and then goes inside, seemingly appraising the place.]

I like it, its kind of homey.

[listens to the realtor as he tells her some of the history of it and shows her the features. Euphie seems to be somewhat of a newbie to the whole liquor business but asks a few smart questions about the condition of the building and drainage and such...apparently she has experience discussing building structure.]

Well thank you - but I do want to show it to my fri- my er, business partner, Reno, first.

[she smiles at the realtor and shakes his hand, then walks outside again]

Reno? What do you think of it? I kind of like the name. [giggles and points to the sign which says 'The Princess' Legs']

I think I'll have that picnic in the park tomorrow.

Anyone is invited if they want to come, I'll have enough food. [goes back to sorting little sweetmeats and sandwich meats and suchlike]

[Euphie is hanging her laundry out to dry on the line in the breezy sunshine and seemingly enjoying herself doing simple domestic things. She has got colour in her cheeks and is loving this self-reliance she has had to learn since landing in Template, despite being independant thinking and working as the Vice-Governor General, she was not really used to doing things like this until now as her servants and vassals did it for her. She seems to be thinking aloud to herself.]

If it stays nice, I think I will have a big picnic in the park...I wonder if Millay'd like to help me set it up.

[[ooc: You may remember my asking about a picnic open log, well, I will be doing it, but likely on Tuesday as I will be away all weekend with little to no internet access. Anyone is invited to join in - Euphie plans to have a huge picnic in the park, complete with a massive array of food and (non alcoholic will have to byob if you want booze :p) drinks. She is going to rope Millay and the others working at the Cat's Eye into helping her out to provide the food so it'll all be top notch.]]
